Series Classes
Knitting 101 - March 11 & 18 @ 6 - 8 PM - $30 *
Come join us and learn to knit!
All teens and adults are welcome to come learn basic knitting skills. If you're an experienced knitter and just want to learn how to make this project please join us!
Our project will be knitting the hat pictured. This is a quick knit using larger needles and thicker yarn. Also, this pattern is nicely separated for sizes newborn to adult, as well as containing variations from beanie to Alpine styles. You will be provided the pattern and learn to cast on, knit, knit 2 together and pearl in the first session. The second session will be binding off and finishing the hat.
*We will provide scissors, measuring tape and darning needles. The color you want to make your hat is up to you, so we ask you to bring the following supplies:

One skein of Super Bulky 6 yarn (Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn recommended by the pattern. I used Wool Ease yarn which worked nicely too)

US 13 needles either a 16" long circular needle or 4 double pointed needles.

8mm crochet hook for making corrections and for newborn side ties.

The total for these supplies is around $20 at Joann Fabrics, similar but slightly more at Micheals. (depending on what you select) You can almost always find a coupon on line.

Come and be a part of our happy hour art class, where you'll discover how to create a fun birch tree collage with colorful papers! Suitable for everyone, this workshop will help you design your own-of-a-kind artwork. Bring your creativity and prepare to unleash your artistic talents!
March 27 - Kinusaiga
5:00 - 6:30 pm
This art form was created by Japanese artist Maeno Takashi in the late 1980s. Kinusaiga involves cutting a pattern into a piece of hard foam and wrapping the design with fabric scraps. We will have some pre drawn patterns or create your own. It’s fun and a good way to use all those extra fabric scraps!

This is an adult art club where you can bring a project you are working on (or been meaning to get started) and devote time to your practice. A space to connect with other creatives in the community, ask for feedback, share ideas and resources to help each other grow. We will gather on the first floor at the gallery.
